A winter day in the NWT

Almost in the Arctic

It was a beautiful crisp winter morning. I set off to drive to Tibbitt lake. I drove to clarify some ideas. I don’t have much to share with y’all other than pictures.

I love the cold. The NWT is actually so much better than the Yukon when it comes to energy. It’s so peaceful here. Your soul feels right at home. Many agree that the Yukon is a land of sorrow... The Yukon has peaks and valleys: just like the emotions of the place. The NWT is flat: just like its energy. It’s not boring per se, it’s just very… easy and comfortable.

Yes. Mostly pictures of the road! I need to find something more inspiring to photograph. I just don't have anywhere to go yet, waiting for the ice roads to appear late December!
