Day 4 of the Port of Montreal shutdown.
We are entering Day 4 of the strike at the Port of Montreal. The situation is simply worsening for the whole supply chain in Canada. 5000 containers are piling up everyday.
“Minister Filomena Tassi says the bill is a matter of life and death because the strike has left essential medical supplies and pharmaceuticals sitting in shipping containers as the COVID-19 pandemic rages.”
There might be a bill coming from the federal to get the workers back to work, but I highly doubt it.
This is their bill (named C-29).
If it passes, it’ll be next week, not before.
