I’ve been flabbergasted by the MacBook Pro M1. It’s the first time in fifteen years that I’m blown away by a computer! It’s THAT amazing. Words fail me! The last time I was shocked by a computer was when Apple switched from PowerPC to Intel in 2004. The M1 chip feels much better than Intel. There is no way to describe it other than magical. 100 tracks on Logic Pro and 250 plugins is no problem –on a 8 GB ram machine!

Fast you say? Mind-blowing. Mind-blowing.
The only sad thing is the absence of useful port, such as a built-in HDMI port and an SD card. And a larger screen. I will get the 16” when it’s available next year!
