Religious freedom shrinking in Canada
You can judge of the health of a country by how it treats its Christian (or Muslims). They are often the canary of the coal mines. You don’t need to be religious to be concern about the direction that our country is taken.
Canada has three territories and 10 provinces.
Here’s where we are at with our religious freedom in Canada, province by province:
Yukon Territory (starting Jan 7th, unvaccinated are FORBIDDEN to enter a church)
Northwest Territories (no information available)
Nunavut (Territory) (Churches are to be closed, since December 30th 2021)
British Columbia (50% capacity restriction)
Saskatchewan (no information)
Manitoba (25 people or 25% if no vaccine passport)
Ontario (25 people, unvaccinated)
Quebec (all churches must be closed, curfew enacted, no gathering whatsoever)
New Brunswick (no singing, 25%)
Nova Scotia (10 people, unvaccinated)
Prince Edward Island (God knows what is required)
Newfoundland & Labrador (50% capacity if unvaccinated)
The Yukon, Quebec, part of BC, and Nunavut are all closed to unvaccinated, or simply closed down. Somehow, the government is now the god and can dictate what’s essential or not. Apparently, churches are considered non-essential.
Ontario is supposed to announce new restriction Tuesday, so let’s see!
Out.
