Fuj XF 60mm f/2.4 macro review

Sample picture with the 60mm f/2.4, wide open

The best lens in the Fuji line-up. The most underrated for sure.

I decided to update this page. It’s now April 2019 and it’s been over 5 months that I owned the 60mm f/2.4 Fuji macro. I’ve been to South Africa with it and South America. I uploaded a few more awesome sample images, most of them taken with the Fuji X-Pro2 and wide open at f/2.4. I cannot say more good things about this lens: it keeps me in love with it for the last five months, which is quite an achievement.

I wrote a bit about the 60mm f/2.4 Fuji already. It is just a lens that keeps on giving. It’s an awesome all-metal build lens that feels hefty and tight in hand. It’s ultra-sharp wide open, colour rendition is top and micro-contrast is excellent.

Here are some more samples:

There’s still the slow focus that makes me miss some shot, and that’s the only thing bad I can say about this lens after having owned it long term.
